SCC membership is open to all residents of SaddleBrooke. The current membership fee is $20 per year (January – December). The dues are used for purchasing supplies for the Club, subsidizing social events, and general expenses required to maintain a viable club.
What we offer: Members have access to a collection of 500+ molds to choose from, access to a slab roller, 3 kilns, and MAYCO Stroke and Coat glazes (limited to stock on hand). If you have a large piece or many pieces, you must purchase your own paints. In addition, Clear Glazes (Envision 1001) are available for all club members to use, at no additional charge.
Our studio: We have a large studio with working space for cleaning and painting your projects. Our experienced members are very generous with their knowledge and are willing to help you with questions you may have. Many of them are also instructors for the classes … so take advantage of their wealth of information by attending their classes and spending time with them in the studio.
Our Fees: Nominal fees are charged for pouring greenware, as well as firing your pieces (greenware to bisque and firing after glazing). We encourage every new member to purchase his or her own brushes, tools, paints, glazes, etc. Limited tools are available for use, and may be borrowed occasionally if you forget to bring your own tools and paints. The SCC also has some supplies available for purchase in the room.
